Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 18, 2026
ProGini Local ("we," "us," or "our") connects homeowners with local service professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have about your information. ProGini Local is operated by ProGini Inc. If you have any questions, contact us at privacy@proginilocal.com.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated automatically when you use our service, and information from third-party sources when necessary to operate the platform.
- Homeowner requests: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, service category, job details, urgency, and any photos or notes you upload.
- Contractor accounts: business name, contact name, email, phone, license or insurance details, billing information, service categories, territories, and business profile content.
- Voice concierge interactions: if you use our AI voice concierge, we process audio input and transcripts to understand your request and route it to the right professional. We do not record calls without clear notice.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and dates/times of access. We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how the platform is used and to keep your session secure.
- Payment data: when you purchase a territory or subscription, our payment processor handles your card details. We store a record of the transaction, amount, date, and billing contact, but not your full card number.
- Reviews and disputes: star ratings, written feedback, dispute reasons, and related correspondence.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Match homeowner service requests with contractors who cover the relevant area.
- Send lead notifications by SMS, email, or in-app alerts to the right professionals.
- Process payments, subscriptions, refunds, and prorated credits.
- Provide order tracking, status updates, and review invitations.
- Improve matching, pricing, and customer experience.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances described below.
Mobile phone numbers and opt-in information: Mobile phone numbers and any opt-in information you provide for SMS messaging are used only to deliver the service-related messages you expect from us — such as lead notifications, status updates, and account alerts. They are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
- With contractors: when a homeowner submits a request, we share the relevant job details (name, phone, ZIP, category, urgency, and notes) with the contractor(s) whose territories cover that area so they can respond.
- With service providers: we use trusted vendors for hosting, payment processing, email delivery, SMS delivery, voice processing, analytics, and mapping or place data. These providers are contractually limited to using your data only for the services they perform for us.
- For legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. SMS messaging and communications
If you provide a mobile phone number and opt in to SMS messages, we may send you text messages related to your service request or contractor account. For example, contractors may receive lead notifications, assignment reminders, and status updates.
Message frequency: The number of messages depends on your activity on the platform. Contractors may receive a few messages per week, or more if lead volume in their territories is high. Homeowners typically receive only a small number of messages related to a specific request.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Please check your carrier plan if you are unsure about your messaging or data rates.
Opt-out and opt-back-in: You can stop receiving SMS messages from us at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To start receiving SMS messages again, reply START or re-enable SMS notifications in your account settings.
Mobile opt-in information: Mobile phone numbers and any opt-in information you provide for SMS messaging are used only to deliver the service-related messages you expect from us. They are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as long as we need it to provide the service, resolve disputes, collect outstanding payments, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or anonymize it according to our internal data retention practices.
6. Your choices and rights
You can update most account information directly in your dashboard. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law. Please note that we may need to keep certain records for legal, accounting, or security purposes even after an account is closed.
Contractors may opt in or out of SMS lead notifications through their profile settings. Homeowners can stop receiving SMS messages from us by replying STOP; reply START to resume.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular monitoring. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
8. Children's privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. Third-party links and services
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, contractor microsites, mapping providers, or payment checkout pages). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
12. Intellectual property

Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Services, we may use them without obligation or compensation to you.
13. Third-party services disclosure
The Services rely on third-party providers to power certain features, including but not limited to payment processing, cloud hosting, mapping and place data, email delivery, SMS and voice messaging, and analytics. These providers may process data or handle transactions on our behalf. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and pricing. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or policies of third-party providers.
14. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under this Privacy Policy where the failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of government or regulatory authorities, fires, floods, strikes, power outages, internet or telecommunications failures, shortages of suitable labor, materials, or transportation, or failures of third-party providers.
15. Severability and entire agreement
Severability: If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held to be invalid, unenforceable, or contrary to law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire agreement: This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Use and any other agreements referenced herein, constitutes the entire agreement between you and ProGini Inc. regarding the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, communications, or agreements, whether written or oral.
